Launch of the Curtin-Monash Universities Accident Research Centre (C-MUARC)

Western Australia is positioning itself to become a world leader in road safety with the launch of a new accident research centre on Friday 17 July.

The Curtin-Monash Accident Research Centre (C-MUARC) — the first of its kind in WA — is a collaboration between Curtin and Monash Universities, with support from the Office for Road Safety.

C-MUARC will provide independent support to WA’s road safety efforts.  The Centre will conduct research into road crashes and injury in WA and will make recommendations to the State Government on road safety issues.

C-MUARC will be located at Curtin’s Bentley Campus.
