    Help us organise Curtin's forms

The flow team is developing a central location for staff and students to easily access and submit forms electronically. In the first stage flow has documented a total of 677 forms used at Curtin. To verify that all current forms have been documented we are asking staff to look through a register of forms and contact us with any errors or omissions. Please click on the link below to review the list for your area.

    http://flow.curtin.edu.au/activities/forms.cfm

We also request that you submit a brief (1-2 sentences) statement outlining the purpose of each of your area's forms. The purpose statements should be in the format: "Use this form to ... apply/request/appeal/recommend etc."

    Let's get focused

The flow team will also be conducting focus group sessions to obtain staff input into the design of a user interface in OASIS and to raise any issues. If you or anyone else from your area would like to attend one of these focus group sessions, please contact us now.

Frontiers in Science Education Research 2009 (FISER'09)

    FISER’09
Frontiers in Science Education Research 2009
international conference on undergraduate science education
    22–24 March 2009
    Famagusta, North Cyprus

My colleagues and I, as the organisers here at Eastern Mediterranean University, are from different disciplines with differing interests. We all, however, came to realise the great need to research the education of our own respective disciplines. This was what motivated us to organize FISER’09 - to bring together seasoned and novice education researchers in Science and Mathematics.

The rapid and unstoppable transformation of the world into the global knowledge society, the accompanying massification of higher education, the greater demand for accountability and quality assurance, and the demand for desirable skills and competencies in graduates have necessitated a rethinking of higher education.

    Mehmet Garip, PhD

    Keynote speakers:

    • Professors Lillian McDermott
    • David Hestenes
    • Cedric Linder
